Alessandra Chiara Mansueto
PhD Student
I am a psychologist with a background in clinical and cognitive psychology and methodology. I am interested in understanding mental health problems as personalized complex and dynamic systems, and personalizing interventions. I joined the lab in 2020 as a multidisciplinary PhD student. My research is funded by the Center for Urban Mental Health. I work at ADAPT (Department of Psychology), at the Department of Communication Science, and I am affiliated with the New Science for Mental Disorders. I conduct research about using personalized ecological momentary assessment and derived personalized statistical models (such as personalized networks) to personalize interventions for mental health and substance use problems. My main questions are: Is it feasible to integrate personalized statistical models into mental health and substance use interventions? Are interventions that include personalized statistical models more effective? Does discussing personalized statistical models with the clients improve therapist-client communication? Interested?
