I am a psychologist and researcher focusing on digital behavior change interventions. During my last project I developed a mobile game-based risk prevention program for impulsive and sensation-seeking adolescents. My research is based on multiple disciplines covering health, clinical and personality psychology as well as Human-Centered Design, Game Design and User-based Research. I am interested in which factors are decisive for a change in attitude and behavior and how they can be implemented in health promotion programs. My focus is on self-regulation, motivational and developmental psychological factors as well as blended learning and treatment approaches.
I graduated from Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf (M.Sc. psychology) in Germany and worked at the German Institute for Addiction and Prevention Research of the Catholic University of Applied Sciences NRW. I am currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam ADAPT Lab.
